I have had a couple of requests from clients to run American Clay Workshops in their homes. Though I have worked hard to set up the studio so there is ample practice space for each participant, there is nothing like a real room for exposure to all aspects of the process.
As a trainer, the idea of teaching in a home is appealing as I can give my participants full walls to deal with and be on hand to trouble shoot any issues that one might encounter in a "real life" situation. As an applicator/designer concerned with the end result for a client, I can see how this may cause all sorts of issues for the homeowner.
This being said, I have a couple of unique homeowners who are game to give this a go. As participants you need to know your only responsibility is to yourself. These classes will run just as if they were in the studio. Participants will pay for the class and have no responsibility for the end result.
Please contact me via e-mail, or comment on this post if you are interested in participating in such a class.
